About the role
The Supreme Court of Victoria is seeking a motivated, team focused individual to join the team as a Registry Officer in the Commercial Court. Registry Officers are responsible for providing administrative services to the judiciary, legal profession, Court users and the public.
The role of a Registry Officer is varied and challenging, the successful applicant will perform a wide range of administrative tasks, including:
Checking and processing of legal documents in compliance with Rules.
Providing technical guidance and support to Court users regarding policy, practice and procedure.
Maintaining the Court's electronic case management system.
Preparing and authenticating Court orders.
Liaising and assisting the chambers of Judicial Officers.
Establishing and maintaining working relationships with Registry Lawyers and Associates.
Undertaking other necessary administrative functions in order to support the operations of the Court.

About you
Completion or studying for business administration, legal related studies, or Certificate IV in Government Studies Court Services is desirable.
