This position is a fixed term full-time opportunity commencing immediately until 11 February 2025 with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency.

As a key member of our team, your primary responsibility will be to communicate with a variety of departments and organisations that manage the fire alarm system direct brigade alarm (DBA) at their premises to support the DFES false fire alarm reduction process. You will also assist firefighters in addressing non-compliance, as well as coordinating and managing stakeholders to address false alarms.
Negotiation and persuasion skills are essential for success, if you are passionate about making a difference through collaborative problem-solving, negotiation skills, and working with a diverse range of stakeholders within a great team, we want to hear from you!

Eligibility To Apply

National Police Certificate
A condition of employment for new employees of DFES is that a current National Police Certificate (less than 3 months old) is provided prior to commencement.
