The Role
As a Regulatory Reporting Specialist, you will assist with the ownership and responsibility for all deliverables of the regulatory and investment performance reporting function. This role is responsible for ensuring there is prompt submission of APRA, PHD and performance reporting to assist with documenting business requirements and managing key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver, review and implementation of controls and processes for all reporting deliverables
Assist with Regulatory Reporting to regulatory bodies including APRA
Assist with business requirement documentation and UAT/BVT testing and documentations
Manage the delivery of the regular performance and analytics reporting for Asset Management and other stakeholders
Stay up to date with regulatory changes and ensure reporting processes are updated accordingly
Interpret, analyse, and provide expertise to the business for new and changing Regulatory Reporting requirements and
Work closely with stakeholders working with the Compliance and Financial Reporting team
Identify and resolve any Regulatory Reporting issues in a timely manner
Identify and actively work on areas requiring process improvement
To be successful in this role you will be self-motivated and possess:
Extensive experience in Investment and Finance operations background with focus on Regulatory and Performance reporting functions
Understanding of Superannuation and Managed Investment Scheme structures including Tax and Distributions
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
Experience working with complex structures and transactions
Good communication, relationship, and team building skills
Ability to adapt and effectively plan workflow to meet key deadlines
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple activities in accordance with delivery requirements and timelines
