Sensational opportunity for a driven, customer focused administrator to support the Wollongong Offices!
About the team
We are seeking a self-motivated and organised Regulatory Services Officer to support the Manager, Illawarra South Coast, and Inspectors based in Wollongong within SafeWork NSW. The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly organised, flexible and proactive team player with experience in supporting a team.
You must have previous demonstrated regulatory administrative and customer service experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide a range of administrative and support services, including records management, routine correspondence and meeting and event coordination to support the effective operation of the Team/Directorate
- Collect and compile information for and prepare documentation and correspondence in line with quality and organisational requirements, to support information flow and inform decision making
- Complete routine financial transactions and purchasing services, ensuring compliance with agency standards and procedures
- Respond to enquiries, and escalate and redirect issues as required, to ensure the provision of accurate information
- Update and maintain records and databases, complying with administrative systems and processes, to ensure that all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible

About you
- Be a motivated self-starter who is flexible, adaptable to changing priorities, capable of working independently and without direction at times.
- Demonstrate discretion and confidentiality with a proven high level of attention to detail.
- Have excellent communication and relationship building skills and the ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Have high level of skills across a range of Microsoft 365 applications, experience with TRIM, SAP and other programs an advantage.
- Demonstrate a commitment to service delivery seeking opportunities of improvement with the customer at heart.
