This newly funded position has been created from an exciting restructure of the Reintegration and Rehabilitation team with a primary focus of having facility-based teams within the Risdon Prison Complex. This restructure has allowed for complex case management to occur, creating better outcomes for our prisoners. The position of the Rehabilitation and Reintegration Support Officer level will assist with the administrative responsibilities associated with the High Risk and Dangerous Criminal behavioural and management reports and ensure complex case management and front-end assessments are delegated and tracked appropriately within the facilities.The Department of Justice has a number of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategies in place, and our recruitment practices aim to facilitate full participation from all population cohorts. Starting salary negotiable within range subject to experience in a similar role. Annual salary increase within this range in accordance with the State Service Award and Public Service Union Wages Agreement.In addition to the salary:

- Provide high level administrative support to the Manager, Senior Clinicians and Stakeholders to assist the coordination and facilitation of prisoner program intervention, assessments and case management.
- Conduct administrative assessments of offenders and provide written reports outlining the findings of the assessments, including recommendations.
- Coordinate and manage the correct storage and frequency of High Risk and Dangerous Criminal Offender reports and database to ensure legislative requirements are met.
