About the role:
Build a strategic partnership, retention and growth of customers across all sectors including business, enterprise, government, health and education sectors.
These outcomes will be achieved through strategic planning, strong relationships and engagement across all parts of the partner organisation, sharing of insights and opportunity identification within and across the entire Converge portfolio, solution selling techniques, internal collaboration, proposal development and follow up, strong negotiation skills and a consistent track record of delivery to (and above) expectations.
The CRM will have a retention and new sales incentive structure.
Duties include:
• Cross business engagement and collaboration including delegation/empowerment to relevant business support areas
• Developing strong relationships with customers, state-wide and nationally
• Customer opportunity identification (across all products)
• Strategic thinking and planning of annual customer plans and monthly tactical campaigning activities
• Maintaining long term customer relationships through positive and responsive engagement and regular review of customer needs
• Top-to-Top customer management
• Growing customer relationships through the active promotion of key services/contracts
• Achieving commercial performance with new customers numbers and proactive customer retention
About you:
You will be an accomplished account management professional with a history of growing account relationships in a face-to-face sales environment. To be successful in this role, you will have these skills, attributes, and experience:
• Demonstrated experience building trusted partnerships with a diverse range of organisations, understanding their needs and providing the right solutions
• Passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience
• Experience working with SMB and state and national based business customers
• A background in relationship/account management in a B2B environment
• Strong technical skills in delivering growth, business planning and problem solving
• Expertise in operational excellence
• Proven experience building effective cross functional relationships internally to deliver on your clients needs
