The Women’s & Children’s Health Network provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia. We are the state’s leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA’s largest maternity and obstetric service.
Our community-based services also reach hundreds of thousands of babies, children and young people, their families and communities across South Australia through our various services and programs in areas such as our Mental Health, Child & Family Health services, Youth Health and Aboriginal Health services.

The Opportunity
The Information Release Officer works as part of a customer service focussed team to provide internal and external clients access to clinical and corporate information held by WCHN. and is accountable for the provision a high quality, confidential administrative service to facilitate access to information requested by a range of internal and external clients.
The incumbent is responsible for:
- Processing Freedom of Information (FOI) applications to a high standard which comply with applicable legislation.
- Processing Release of Information (ROI) requests, for information which falls outside the scope of FOI
- Working with customers to assist them in gaining access to information (eg relevant information, appropriate consent obtained etc)
- Ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of Information at all times
