Role Details
The Department for Child Protection is seeking an Information Management Officer to join the ICT and Information Management team on a full-time term basis.
The role is responsible for:
- Undertaking the creation of physical and electronic files in DCP's Electronic Document and Records Management System
- Ensuring the disposal process of physical and electronic information meets DCP's disposal plan and requirements under State Records Standards and Guidelines
- Assisting in the maintenance of DCP's record holdings with State Records of South Australia and Approved Storage Providers
- Providing support to staff in actioning discovery requests and information retrieval requests as well as basic user support to Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) users
About You
We are looking for an innovative individual with a high level of accuracy in verifying information.
You will have experience in undertaking information life cycle activities and delivering information disposal services to ensure quality and timely outcomes.
Your demonstrated ability to communicate in a concise manner both verbally and in writing will be the key to your success, you will be liaising with a range of stakeholders to develop collaborative working relationships.
If you are able to manage a diverse workload, prioritise effectively and can work under broad direction, then this may be the ideal role for you.
