Swickers has been in operation in Kingaroy for over 50 years and today employs approximately 800 employees.
As part of the Sunpork Group, Swickers is a state-of-the-art processing facility specialising solely in the production of fresh pork and distributing it widely across Australia and internationally. Swickers processes 95% of all Queensland’s pork production, including the production of various pork value-add products for consumers worldwide. The opportunity
The Reliability Manager is an integral member of the Maintenance leadership team with management responsibilities for a high performing team and team culture at Swickers.
The Reliability Manager is an integral member of the Maintenance leadership team with management responsibilities for a high performing team and team culture at Swickers. This role is integral to set up the Routine Centred Maintenance (RCM) system on site and managing the Planning team to reduce machine failure and managing the maintenance store to ensure Critical Spares are available.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Drive performance, accountability and engagement of the maintenance systems
- Develop Planned Maintenance and Standard Jobs to
- Reduce downtime
- Improve task execution
- Reduce cost of repairs
- Review and maintain legal compliance register
- Manage Planning and Scheduling processes and team
- Manage Maintenance Store, Procurement processes and team
- Technical support for MEX and D365
- Integrate D365 and MEX and maintain high level of accuracy
- Develop process post integration
- Monthly R&M Budget updates and reporting
- Monthly CAPEX expenditure updates and reporting
- Inputs into annual budget proposal
- Training on MEX, D365 and Maintenance Processes
- Support Production to optimise productivity and efficiencies
- Maintain asset register, including optimal functional location placement on asset tree
- Liaise with project team to ensure new equipment Preventative Maintenance schedules, documentation, training and spare parts are established
- Implement and manage RCM processes
- Implement and manage Predictive maintenance system across site
- Resolve Corrective Action Requests in a timely manner.
What we’re looking for
Swickers has established an efficient, highly skilled yet diversified team. Skills and Experience:
- Strong FMCG Background/experience.
- Strong and proven background in Supervisor and/or management role.
- Demonstrated Safety background & experiences.
- Intermediate MS Office skills.
- High degree of general trade based technical knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong Computerised Maintenance Management System knowledge (MEX preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of D365 Advanced Warehouse system
- Engineering / Trade Qualifications desirable but not essential.
