We are seeking a Full-time Relief Manager for NSW/ACT/VIC based in Sydney. We need someone able to work independently and part of a team. Your role will require flexibility to work across our NSW properties as required with the occasional short stints in ACT/VIC. We’re looking for someone who embodies our key values: harmonious, empowered, caring and real.
About the role

- Welcoming guests and providing assistance
- Flexibility to work with a changing roster including early mornings, late evenings, overnights, weekends and public holidays
- Assist the Hotel Manager in the smooth running of the hotel operations
- Covering Hotel Manager leave which includes onsite coverage at some properties
- Providing all guests and key stakeholders with exceptional customer service
- General front desk duties including checking guests in/out, making reservations, answering enquiries
- Working with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure high quality standards are maintained
- Training team members to ensure consistency across the group
Skills and Experience
Our ideal candidate must have previous experience in a hotel front desk environment. Qualifications in the hospitality, travel or tourism industries would be highly regarded. In addition, we value:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly organised with a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous Duty Manager experience, in serviced apartments would be ideal
- Positive work attitude and able to work in a small team environment
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Computer skills
- A hands on approach and 'CAN DO' attitude
- Critical thinking and ‘thinking outside the box'
- Experience handling cash and credit card transactions and shift balancing
- Current RSA
