We have an opportunity for a couple to work as Relief Staff, at the Management Level, to cover holidays and vacancies for our 13 Caravan and Tourist Parks in Western Australia and our Caravan Park in Ceduna, South Australia. These roles are both full-time for 6 months, working flexibly to meet the requirements of the Parks and our Guests.
Initially, these roles will be for up to 6 months, with the genuine possibility of an ongoing role, subject to performance and business needs.
Essential Job Requirements
To be considered for these joint roles, you will need your own reliable vehicle and your own Caravan.
The successful couple will have at least two years of management experience in the Tourist Park Industry and be ready to take on the responsibility for the smooth functioning of each Park as required.

About The Roles
We are seeking an enthusiastic, ‘hands-on’ Management team with a positive outlook, and good people skills. One of you will have strengths in the office and the other will be strong in grounds & handy-person maintenance tasks.
Common tasks performed by the Park Managers include but are not limited to:
- Park Operations, organisation and management, including ‘out of hours’ responsibilities
- Completion of groundskeeping tasks to ensure a high standard is maintained throughout the park via the mowing of lawns, pool & garden maintenance, painting, stripping rooms, bins etc.
- Night patrols & being available for after-hours call-outs
- Reception and on-site shop duties, answering the phone & check-ins/outs
- Greet guests via phone and in person in a friendly and courteous manner
- Accurately take and record reservation information, process deposit information and provide guests with confirmation correspondence
- Managing Park operations in the absence of the Park Managers, during periods of annual leave, weekly RDOs, and other absences as required
- Ensure smooth operation of the Park by managing issues as they arise
- End of month reporting
- Financial management - operating, reporting, delivering and implementing budgets
- Seasonal activities including BBQs, kids activities etc
- Some Training of new managers and staff may be required
- Cleaning of rooms, en-suites and amenities (on occasion, as needed)
- Laundry and folding of linen (on occasion, as needed)
Essential skills and attributes:
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Competent handyman and office skills
- Physically fit
- Willingness to learn, and to take direction
- Comprehensive team leadership experience
- Sound understanding of business fundamentals
- Computer literate with RMS (or similar) experience
- Tourist Park experience is preferred, but not essential if you meet the other criteria
The Relief Staff (Management Level) must either hold a current police clearance, first aid certificate and driver’s licence or be able to acquire these prior to the arranged start date.
Successful applicants will be required to travel between our Parks to cover holiday leave, emergency leave, vacancies and some longer term appointments. Sometimes you will just be extra hands in a Park. A vehicle allowance is paid & fuel costs for travel between Parks will be reimbursed.
Your own caravan and towing vehicle will be essential.

- Full-time Salary (c.$70k pa), plus Superannuation, for each of you
- Vehicle Allowance ($4.5k pa each, $9k pa per couple, for the vehicle and the van)
