Position Overview: An exceptional opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced Development Manager to join a dynamic team within the Renewable Energy sector, focusing specifically on wind, solar and BESS projects.
This role will play a pivotal part in identifying, initiating, and overseeing key energy projects, steering them from conception to execution while ensuring alignment with the company's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the identification and evaluation of potential opportunities for Renewable Energy projects.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to devise project strategies, encompassing feasibility studies, financial modelling, and risk analysis.
• Overseeing the complete project lifecycle of projects, managing aspects from concept to construction, including permitting, land acquisition, and stakeholder engagement.
• Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as government agencies, landowners, and local communities, pertaining to Renewable Energy initiatives.
• Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the project development phase.
• Contributing to the continuous enhancement of project development processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field; a Master's degree is advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Renewable Energy project development, demonstrating a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Profound understanding of energy markets, renewable technologies, and project finance.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and garner consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking coupled with exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software relevant to projects.
