Location: Flexible, with regular travel to project sites

About the client
The team comprises specialists in Renewable Energy projects, community engagement, and support services. They operate multiple projects across the region, including solar, wind, and other Renewable Energy initiatives.

The Role
The Renewable Energy Engineer is crucial in developing, constructing, and operating large-scale Renewable Energy projects. This role involves:

• Providing expertise in resource measurement and assessment for wind and solar energy.
• Supporting the development of resource measurement campaigns that are safe, accurate, and cost-effective.
• General engineering support across various phases of project development and execution.

Challenges

• Managing wind and solar resource measurement campaigns.
• Developing layouts for generation facilities.
• Conducting energy yield assessments using standard industry software.
• Addressing operational challenges in remote locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Renewable Energy Engineering.
• Proficiency in resource engineering software, GIS, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical analysis and data management for resource measurement.
• Producing reports and presentations to aid business decision-making and community engagement.
