The Role
Following our continued growth and success winning and positioning ourselves to deliver current and future major Renewable projects across Australia our Renewable Energy Engineering team is seeking highly skilled professionals to join our team to support the delivery of a number of upcoming projects roles in QLD, NSW or VIC. The successful candidate will work across solar, wind, battery, hybrid renewables and owners engineer projects.
Some of the key skillsets we would like to hear from are outlined below:
- Solar PV Engineer
- Wind Engineer
- Renewable Energy Engineer
- Power Systems Engineer
- Design, project management and technical delivery of renewable based projects
- Client relationship management for all projects
- Ensuring that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and SMEC
- Contributing to bid preparation and providing technical input across other disciplines where needed
- Proactively collaborating with team members, contributors, and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness, and co-ordination of project deliverables
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications, with a focus in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy
- Relevant industry experience in the renewables sector
- CPEng or working towards chartership
- Expert knowledge of utility scale renewable projects and detailed design/studies
- Familiar with owner’s engineering work in renewables is desirable but not essential
- Relevant software experience
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multi-disciplinary environment
