- Proven organisational skills - ability to plan and prioritise work, meet standards and deadlines.
- Relevant qualifications together with familiarity with forestry management and protection, which may include harvesting and roading, weed and pest control, fire management, planning and suppression, and silviculture.
- Proven successful experience in natural resource management and experience in undertaking activities related to forestry or environmental compliance.
- Well-developed communication, written, negotiation and project management skills.
- Proven ability to work cross functionally without direct line management authority to reach desired outcomes.
- Ability to build and maintain constructive relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders together with high levels of diplomacy and the ability to effectively manage potentially contentious and confidential matters.
