About the opportunity
The Victorian Government is upgrading the Eastern Freeway with new express lanes, new traffic management technology and Melbourne’s first dedicated busway. These changes will slash travel times and improve public transport in Melbourne’s east.
Laing O’Rourke is part of the Eastern Freeway – Burke to Tram Alliance with Major Road Projects Victoria, Symal, Arcadis and WSP. Our scope of work includes a new interchange connecting the Eastern Freeway to the North East Link tunnels, major road and bridge upgrades between Burke Road and Tram Road, smart traffic management technology upgrades and new noise protection to meet Victoria’s toughest traffic noise standards. The local community will also benefit from new and upgraded walking and cycling connections, upgrades to Koonung Creek Reserve and revitalised wetlands and open spaces.
About the role
We are currently seeking a Reporting Analyst to join us on the Eastern Freeway – Burke to Tram Alliance. We have a strong pipeline with many opportunities for career progression right here in Victoria.

Key responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation and ongoing management of BTA People, Capability and Inclusion reporting dashboard
- Administer and analyse cumulative Local Jobs First and social procurement reporting requirements including supporting client check in meetings and presentations to senior internal stakeholder groups.
- Lead Local Jobs First and social procurement reporting and client audit compliance
- Conduct monthly internal audits with selected industry partners
- Support internal and external audits
- Support supply chain partners in understanding and meeting monthly Local Jobs First and social procurement reporting requirements
- Coordinate collation of data relating to monthly reporting obligations, including working with the supply chain to provide accurate reporting
- Analyse supply chain reporting and outcomes in alignment with contractual commitments.
About you
- Strong Power BI / Qliksense and Excel systems proficiency
- Prior experience working in a large-scale engineering, construction, manufacturing and/or services organisations will be highly regarded
- Experience working with large volumes of data and the ability to extract information from various sources
- A high level of organisational and time management skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment with a proactive and adaptable attitude
