About the role

We currently have a newly created role within our logistics division as a Reporting and Analytics Manager. This leader will manage one other Analyst to help turn supply chain and logistics data into business intelligence reporting so we can make better decisions faster.

Use your technical experience to lead the data management process and collaborate on data integrations across internal and external systems related to the logistics function providing timely access and delivery of data. Support the reporting environment that utilises the logistics data across a range of different stakeholders. 

Other responsibilities

• Lead the creation and application of policies for effective Reporting and data management within logistics

• Lead the monitoring and analyse of information from logistics data systems, evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them. Consider improvements to the data framework, scope, plan and execute within logistics

• Pro-actively plan to deliver new and upgraded data segments as future enhancements,  integrations and opportunities arise within logistic systems

• Subject Matter Expert for original logistics data source repository to support the businesses suite of Power BI reporting - new and existing.

• Custodian of Power BI reports that use logistics system originating data.

• Monitor and review / reconcile reporting data against source data systems, troubleshoot data-related problems, and ensure data integrity within logistics.

About you

• Experience in producing analytics and insights from various data sources

• Experience with systems integrations in a Supply-Chain business

• Experience with integration formats XML, JSON, CSV, FTP protocols

• Technical expertise in Power BI, SQL Server and Reporting Services (SSRS)

• Would suit an IT professional looking to move into a business role or a Supply Chain professional looking to move into Data Analyst – BI role.
