The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Reporting and Insights Analyst to deliver detailed analysis and actionable insights within the Store Operations team at JB. In collaboration with various stakeholders across the business, this role requires a commercial thinker with demonstrated experience in designing, developing and maintaining dashboards in Power BI & MS Excel. The successful candidate will be capable of understanding complex datasets, with a proven ability to communicate meaningful commercial insights to the wider stakeholder network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working within the Store Operations Team to develop and refine KPI reporting for Stores and Area Managers
- Developing, automating, administering, and maintaining a suite of pre-existing Power BI Dashboards
- Detailed analysis and preparation of monthly executive store performance metrics
- Ongoing analysis of Store KPI reporting to help identify areas of opportunity
- Collaborate with stakeholders from various functions on key projects
- Support Operations team with developing and analysing labour productivity measures & reporting
- Provide timely ad-hoc analysis in MS Excel based on Sales and Store performance
- Identify, analyse, and recommend process improvement opportunities
- Evolving existing reporting frameworks and dashboard
Preferred Experience/Qualifications:
- A Bachelors’ Degree in Business, Commerce or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience working in an analyst role or similar
- Experience in developing, designing, administering, and scheduling Power BI Dashboards.
- Experience in report automation using Power Automate
- Advanced level user of Microsoft Excel
- Intermediate level user of SQL
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across different functions
- Ability to overlay commercial insights and commentary
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a retail environment highly desired
