Your New Role:
As a Requirements Engineer at Hanwha Defense Australia, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of our defence projects. You will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and documenting requirements to drive the development of cutting-edge defence solutions. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will play a key role in translating strategic objectives into actionable technical specifications.
Primary Areas of Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyse, and document project requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and client needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and project managers to define and refine technical specifications.
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise user stories and functional requirements.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of project scope and objectives.
- Continuously monitor and manage changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring traceability and alignment with project goals.
About You:
As an ideal candidate, you will have:
- Proven experience as a Requirements Engineer or similar role in the defence industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to critically evaluate complex requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in requirement management tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with defence industry standards and practices
- A proactive and results-oriented approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
Eligibility:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security clearance (must be an Australian Citizen). Eligibility criteria can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva
