- Assist Head of Australia and conduct comprehensive research on the Australian real estate market, including office, residential, retail, logistics and overall economy.
- Assist Head of Australia and collect market data trends, pricing, demand and supply factors on the Australian real estate market
- Assist Head of Australia to identify key market drivers and constraints influencing the industry
- Assist regional portfolio management team and conduct comprehensive research on real estate market including office, residential, retail, logistics and overall economy outside of Australia
- Assist regional portfolio management team and collect market data trends, pricing, demand and supply factors on the real estate market outside of Australia
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, government policies, and economic factors affecting the real estate sector in Australia
- Provide insights and recommendations to Head of Australia based on market shifts and their potential impact
- Communicate findings in a clear and understandable manner, catering to various audiences
- Share findings and insights and assist Head of Australia to drive strategic initiatives
- Data Management
- Maintain a well organized database of Australian real estate market information and historical data
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all outputs
- Experience working in a building management, property management, asset management or fund management role as it relates to institutional property investment in Asia Pacific region
- Bachelors or equivalent with 7+ years of experience in business and/or real estate, with a reputable private and/or institutional investor
- Experience formulating business or investment strategy in certain markets within real estate sector
- Real Estate investment or asset management experience in multiple jurisdiction within Pan Asia Market (Australia, Japan, Singapore preferred)
- Advanced Excel cash flow modelling skills
- Excellent due diligence, analytical, negotiation, and written/oral communication skills.
- Ability to solve a wide variety of problems, typically of moderate to sophisticated scope with minimal reference to established policies and procedures.
- Market reporting, presentation and report writing skills
- Work collaboratively on a team and with cross functional business partners; use relationships and resources to accomplish work, based on business needs.
