MGA Thermal is a revolutionary Australian clean energy company with a breakthrough form of energy storage. MGA Blocks store and deliver thermal energy while remaining outwardly solid. A Unique Opportunity
We are offering an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of managing MGA Thermal's Research and Development department. As R&D Manager you will play a vital role in driving research that contributes directly to global decarbonisation. You will utilize your advanced Materials Science or Chemical knowledge to contribute to the design, development and conduct of experiments. Your affinity for management will allow you to lead the planning, resource allocation and activity prioritization within agreed upon priority areas. This is your chance to be a part of something big.
The Role
This role will oversee four initial R&D areas:
- The continuing improvement of Generation One MGA Block properties and the associated product specification.
- The development of new MGA Block formulations with targeted operating capabilities to address changing market expectations.
- The development and refinement of in-house testing hardware and software capabilities for relevant material properties.
- The provision of R&D services and advice to other MGA Thermal departments.
