Form of workRoyal on the Park is an independently owned and managed hotel, with 153 elegantly appointed rooms and suites, an award-winning restaurant & lounge bar and event facilities with the capacity to host up to 700 people. We are looking for an experienced Reservations Agent to join our Front Office Department for 30 hours a week over five days.
The Role:
Are you someone who thrives on exceptional planning and assisting guest with their enquiries? Come join us to sell our beautiful historical iconic hotel in the middle of Brisbane city!
The successful candidate will be proficient in Hotel Systems including GDS, knowledge of PMS interface systems, preferably Opera.
As this is a highly rewarding and exciting role from Monday to Friday we require someone with great phone etiquette, organised email and web communication prioritizing daily. Hotel experience is desired however please apply if you feel you have what it takes to be an amazing Reservations Agent.

- A strong focus on Customer Service and satisfaction
- Understanding of corporate, leisure, inbound and wholesale markets.
- Organised and great at planning
- Perfect attention to detail is a must
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Eager to learn and confident to ask questions
- Exposure and understanding of reservation systems
- Able to negotiate customer complaints to ensure client satisfaction.
- Ready for the next step in your career in Front Office.
