The Role:
Welcome to the role of Reservation Sales Associate!
Be part of the Hyatt Family and start your career as a Reservations Sales Associate at the Global Property & Guest Services (GPGS) in Melbourne.
As our Reservation Sales Associate, you will be the initial point of contact for our guests and assist them with any questions regarding their reservations and future bookings. Your main responsibility is to generate sales for Hyatt properties worldwide.
What You'll do:
You will handle guest reservations through various communication channels, including phone and email, providing a seamless booking experience for our guests.
With your expertise, our guests will feel confident in their bookings and excited about their upcoming stays. You'll do this by providing recommendations on hotel reservations that will enhance our guests' experiences in a professional and courteous manner. You will be the initial point of contact for our guests and assist them with any questions regarding their reservations.
We believe in delivering exceptional customer service, so you'll be expected to follow established standards and frameworks to create a memorable, personalised, and unique experience for every guest. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to promote brand awareness and the World of Hyatt Loyalty Program.
Qualifications:
Who We're Looking for:
- Previous experience in the hotel or contact centre desirable but not essential
- Motivation and the ability to learn new tasks are highly valued in applicants.
- Strong telephone and computer skills are essential for success in this role.
- Excellent organisational abilities are necessary to ensure effective performance.
- Working effectively in a team is a must.
- A customer-focused attitude is required, with a keen eye for detail to exceed guest expectations.
- Fluency in English is necessary and fluency in Bahasa is a plus!
- Full working rights in Australia is required.
- 3-4 weeks in house training to prepare you for our guests.
- Convenient location in the heart of Melbourne CBD
- Full-time permanent role
- Monday to Friday: 8am to 9pm (penalty rates apply after 7pm) with the possibility of expanding to 12am!
- Saturday: 10am to 6pm and the possibility of expanding to Sunday!
