We work hard and this role role is not for the faint hearted! Ellis Developments are a busy residential and commercial builder seeking a Supervisor to manage residential projects. This role is not for someone who wants an office job, we require a site present Supervisor who is not afraid to get their hands dirty, problem solve and think on their feet. Supported by two additional Supervisors, your project sheet will be split and regular construction team meetings are held to discuss programming of trades, current industry issues and wins. It is your role to ensure trades are programmed in advance to keep jobs running and schedules are updated.
Job tasks and responsibilities
You will have previous experience Supervising residential projects. It is imperative that you have the organisational skills required to schedule multiple trades in order to keep the construction program flowing at all times to meet contractual date requirements, as well as the motivation to check the work of our sub-contractors, problem solve on site, regularly attend site and check works against plans, specifications, selections and variations.
There is no doubt about it, this is a busy job that is 80% site based, 20% office based with one of Townsville's biggest builders, but with a great team and supportive management, is an excellent opportunity to get stuck in and use your experience.
