About You:
Hold a Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Youth Work, Social Work or similar (or be studying towards) Australian Drivers Licence (P2 or higher) Blue card & Yellow card Current First Aid & CPR certificate 3 months paid experience as a Residential Youth Worker The ability to work a mixture of day, night and weekend shifts as required

Your responsibilities will include:
Establish a secure and nurturing home environment for at-risk young people
Offer guidance and support with personal care requirements including meal assistance and hygiene routines
Provide transportation for school, appointments and community activities
Foster the development of skills and socialisation within the local community, alongside promoting positive pro-social peer interactions
Support in the administration of medications and associated reporting requirements for children on Child Protection orders
Provide trauma-informed care to young people who display complex behavioural issues and traumatic backgrounds
Engage in the Trauma Recovery practice framework and undertake Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) within the first three months of your employment
