Resource Processing Trainee Programmed Skilled Workforce, in partnership with Tronox, is looking for a driven and motivated Resource Processing Trainee who is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Resource Processing which will be delivered over a 24-month period. Tronox is a fully integrated titanium minerals producer and pigment manufacturer. At our operations in Western Australia, we extract and process rich mineral sands into a range of valuable products which are exported to international markets. Our local sites based in Bunbury, Australind and Kemerton are all long-term stable employers of choice. The sites form part of the global operations of Tronox Limited, one of the world's largest producers of titanium dioxide pigment, with a global customer base. The Role The Resource Processing Trainee will effectively support the site operations by operating equipment including fixed and mobile plant, the packaging of product and assisting in the movement of product throughout the plant, readying it for dispatch. Skills and Experience To be successful, you will meet the following criteria:
Strong commitment to safety and driven work ethic
Completion of Secondary Schooling (minimum)
Ability to work a shift roster when required
Previous experience in a fast-paced industrial environment is advantageous
A current WA C-Class drivers licence and own transport
Logical outlook and capable to work alone/team environment
Proactive and hands on approach
Good communication both verbal and written
Strong computer literacy
The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
