AddressA fantastic opportunity has become available for a proactive and enthusiastic Senior Accountant to work as part of our Finance team while one of the team is on Maternity Leave. The position is located at the Callidus Process Solutions base in Balcatta.
This position will report to the Group Financial Controller and will be responsible for:
- Produce monthly management accounts from divisional, to job costing, to Group consolidation, with variance analysis
- Assist with multiple compliance deadlines for foreign entities.
- Assist with the preparation of corporate budgets and reforecasts.
- Perform operational review and modelling of cash flow, lead indicators, and slow-moving inventory analysis.
- Supervise the Finance team throughout the EoM reporting cycle.
- Review and approve weekly accounts payable, and various payrolls – domestic and foreign.
- Perform monthly, quarterly and annual statutory reconciliations.
- Lead role for banking administration across local and foreign jurisdictions
Ideally you will have the following:
- Possess an accounting degree or equivalent commercial experience within a finance team
- Self-motivated and driven to meet deadlines and resolve issues independently
- Possess strong accounting skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Possess strong organisational and priority management skills
- System savvy and capable user of Microsoft products
- Ability to work closely with a small team and use initiative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive “can do” attitude
