Capability Manager who will play a pivotal role to ensure Saab maintains a strong, sustainable competitive advantage.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of People Capability and Development and leading a team of nine (9), the
Resourcing and Capability Manager will play a key role in designing, implementing and maintaining Saab’s workforce capability plan, along with end-to-end recruitment. A key focus will be to maintain the required people capabilities and talent pipeline to support Saab’s diverse and growing portfolio of work. Through strong partnering and engagement across the business, this position will operationalise strategies and deliver effective and efficient practices for workforce planning, resource forecasting and planning, capability and organisation design, talent acquisition and onboarding.
What You Will Bring
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in a similar role, specifically focused on workforce planning, in a large and complex, matrix style organisation. You must have an analytical mindset and the ability to use software to build and maintain complex forecasting models, with the capability to build a structured, organisation-wide approach to workforce planning. Your excellent problem-solving skills, ability to manage issues and drive outcomes and suggest process improvements, will be critical to your success in this role. Your ability to coach/mentor, communicate, influence and negotiate will be complemented by your natural ability to partner and engage with diverse stakeholders across all levels of the organisation. Relevant qualifications are essential.
