The Opportunity:
As a QA Officer at Humes you'll administer quality requirements with precision, ensuring compliance with QA systems and effective QC implementation at our Echuca/VIC site. Your responsibilities will include
- Administer Quality requirements to ensure QA system compliance and effective QC implementation
- Assist internal and external quality audits
- Ensure products manufactured daily are in accordance with Australian and other relevant standards.
- Report to management any areas where product quality performance will impact adversely on financial or customer satisfaction standards.
- Maintain a safe system of work in the workplace. Comply with all relevant safety, health and environment legislation.
About You:
- Ability to multitask
- Prepare and maintain Project QA portfolio's
- Focus on quality and attention to detail
- Able to react positively under pressure
- Establishing good relations with internal and external customers / auditors
- Ability to read civil/construction shop drawings
- Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Preferably with experience in Quality Control in Precast or an Allied Industry
