Our gaming activities at our venues nationwide (excluding WA) are underpinned by our responsible gaming framework and initiatives. This includes Player Protect, our public commitment to leading the way in responsible gaming. Player Protect comes from a place of care, and our responsible gaming activities range from in-venue policies to supporting players outside the pub with information, education and pastoral care. . We're always working on new processes and technologies to help our players keep their gaming entertaining and responsible.ALH has partnered with FOCAL to roll-out the ALeRT BETTOR system at its mainland licensed venues. This system is designed to detect and alert our team members to potentially problematic gaming play, to then allow for interaction and engagement.As the Responsible Gaming Specialist for ALH, you will play a critical role in supporting our responsible gaming program by ensuring accurate reporting, management, use and action of key responsible gaming data by our operations and supporting teams from the FOCAL ALeRT BETTOR system and other data systems implemented by ALH.Sound good? Read on:Here's a taster of the Responsible Gaming Specialist responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with ALH Operations, Endeavour Group Legal, ALH Responsible Gaming & Financial Crime teams to understand responsible gaming program data & reporting requirements and develop targeted reporting solutions
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards and presentations for ALH Operations to communicate and track use and outcomes of FOCAL and other responsible gaming data by venue teams
  • Collaborate with and provide direct coaching to ALH frontline teams on responsible gaming reporting and actions (including training and support on key tools and systems)
  • Track and report on progress / outcomes from responsible gaming interactions with players
  • Analyse and interpret data & outcomes to identify trends, patterns and areas for improvement within the responsible gaming program
  • Prepare regular responsible gaming reporting for use by Boards, Senior and Executive Leadership Teams and other stakeholders from time to time.
  • Interface with key data collection and systems providers - including FOCAL research consultants - to continually explore and implement new tools & reporting to enhance data management, reporting and usage.
  • Participate in evolving responsible gaming practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organisation.
Now let's talk about you:
  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • Relevant experience in similar data reporting and administration roles (minimum 3 years).
  • Proficiency in various data and insight based software, including but not limited to Excel, Google Sheets and Tableau.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, establish and maintain strong relationships with operational stakeholders.
  • Understanding of responsible gaming practices is advantageous.
  • Previous experience working in gaming, hospitality or casino environments is desirable.
  • Knowledge of database management systems.
