We are seeking a talented and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our soon-to-be-opened restaurant, which will operate as a café six days a week and as a dinner service four nights a week. Our establishment will be dedicated to serving modern Italian cuisine with a weekly rotating menu, complemented by a selection of local and imported wines as well as boutique beers.
The role offers day shifts to mix it up!
Key Responsibilities:
Hospitality Excellence: As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that every guest receives impeccable service and enjoys a relaxed dining experience that exceeds their expectations.
Staff Training and Development: You will lead the training efforts for our staff, ensuring that they are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver outstanding service consistently. Your goal will be to foster a culture of continuous growth and improvement among the team.
Financial Management: Conduct weekly budget meetings to monitor and manage expenses, ensuring that margins are maintained and financial goals are met.
Operational Coordination: Collaborate closely with the daytime supervisor to ensure seamless operations and a cohesive guest experience across all service periods.
Entrepreneurial Leadership: Bring a strong entrepreneurial spirit to the role, proactively seeking opportunities for growth and development of the restaurant.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Deep understanding of Italian cuisine and a passion for delivering authentic flavors and experiences.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving financial targets.
