We now have an opportunity for a full time Food & Beverage Manager to join out close knit team in our ever-growing team.
We are seeking an experienced, professional & hands on Food & Beverage Manager who has a positive work ethic and who can work as part of a team, to work closely with our Operations Manager to supervise the operation team within our food and beverage department.
This multifaceted role supports the smooth-running & manages performance of the team, along with the delivery of excellent service to our members and their guests.
This opportunity will be offered as a full-time, permanent position
Reporting to the Operations Manager, key responsibilities of this role include;
- Coordinating the responsibilities of the kitchen and front of house staff ensuring that duties are appropriately allocated.
- Oversee and get involved in the day-to-day service elements of Food & Beverage; opening and closing, creating order lists for OM for stock, cash handling & maintain equipment.
- Lead by example; ensuring exceptional hospitality in all aspects of our operation
- Ensuring that the restaurant, kitchen and beverage areas are clean and maintained to a high standard, including the storeroom and stock areas.
- Ensuring stock is presented well and rotated properly, minimising and monitoring waste in all areas.
- Monitoring customer service standards across the venue.
- Coordinating group bookings and functions.
- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities with the ability to effectively manage a team in a positive manner.
- Work closely with the operations manager in all aspects of the operation, particularly in organising functions & executing them to a high level
- Ensuring appropriate cash handling procedures are being followed across the venue
- Ensuring staff feedback is given to improve service and follow up any issues with the operations manager
- Be prepared to undertake the deputy Operations Manager role in their absence and perform specific tasks as requested
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills and values that follow;
- Experience in an equivalent managerial or supervisory role.
- Ability to work a rotating roster that includes weekdays, weekends, opening & closing shifts
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
- Australian National Police Clearance
- A demonstrated history of working unsupervised
- Ability to deliver results & flexibility to respond to a variety of different work situations
Remuneration to be negotiated with successful candidate based on experience & qualifications.
Essential Criteria:
Approved Managers Licence & RSA certification – knowledge and a strong understanding of RSA & Licence conditions.
Relevant experience within the hospitality industry.
Prior experience in a management or supervisory role.
An understanding of the Club environment.
