Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Restaurant Manager to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.
Who we're seeking?
A Passionate Restaurant Manager to shape and maintain high level of guest satisfaction in our Food and Beverage operations in Sails In the Desert. The operations will include Geckos Cafe, our all-day diner in Town Square; Kulata Academy Cafe, the training ground for our Trainees; and the Airport Bar. The primary responsibilities will be to manage recruitment, performance management, employee experience, culture development and internal communications while maintaining a friendly and inviting atmosphere in the venue.
Key Duties:
- Ensure efficient and consistent service standards are provided by all hotel food and beverage outlets within the hotel
- Liaise closely with senior management to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the hotel's food & beverage outlets
- Contribute to the strategic goals and objectives of Ayers Rock Resort with responsibility to support, develop and retain staff
- Maintain outlet presentation, customer service, operating equipment and stock to expected company standards
Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in a multi-outlet environment or extensive background within a 5-star hotel, resort or casino at a Restaurant Manager level
- Exceptional knowledge in food & beverage operations
- Ability to lead and motivate a team and develop staff
- A flexible, adaptable and hands-on approach, willing to work as part of a large dining team
