We are currently looking for an energetic and motivated professional to join our amazing hospitality team. Full time or part time hours available.
As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for leading and engaging with your team whilst demonstrating an excellent customer focus, committed to creating a great experience for all at Berth.
You will be someone who thrives in a busy venue while demonstrating:

- Dining experience in a similar setting - Smart Casual Dining

- Passion for food, wine and people.
- A minimum of one year experience as a Restaurant Manager or two years experience as an assistant venue manager, ready for the next step
- Experience in running functions/events such as weddings, big aged birthday's, corporate end of year parties not necessary but a bonus
- Experience using SevenRooms & IvVy ideal but not essential
- Computer literacy / proficiency
More specifically, your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the venue - including opening, closing and everything in between.
- Daily cash handling and reconciliation
- End to end management of the hospitality team – hiring, training and development along with rostering.
- Communicating effectively with management and the team to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience.
- Along with the Events Manager; plan, coordinate and execute all functions and events
- Liaise regularly with the Head Chef, Events Manager and General Manager about daily operations, upcoming bookings and events
- Achieve financial goals/budgets, wages and cost of goods control.
- Oversee social media platforms
- Implement and obide by health and safety protocols
