The De Fraga Hospitality Group is seeking a Restaurant Manager to join our team at The Kingston Hotel/Marble & Pearl.
The role
We are looking for a confident, warm and highly skilled Restaurant Manager with experience leading a team in fast-paced restaurants and a meticulous eye for detail. The role is all-encompassing, reporting directly to the General Manager.
Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Setting and maintaining the already high service standards
- Management of reservations to maximise the restaurants capacity, including functions
- Supervising and training of staff
- Analysing and managing pricing of goods to suit budgeting requirements
- Identify and develop areas of improvement.
- Rostering, staff hiring and training with financial accountability, performance appraisals and succession planning.
- Consulting with key stakeholders and chefs on menu planning
- Working with senior management to consistently reach clear and achievable KPI’s
You will need to have excellent guest engagement, with least 2 years of experience managing high-end dining. We strive for a high level of presentation with you leading the charge by setting an example.

First and foremost, you must have a genuine love of hospitality and the industry itself. Many of our guests have become our friends over the years and welcoming them into our home is something we pride ourselves on.
Being a strong, calm and effective communicator is a must. You will lead by example to maintain the positive and supportive culture amongst our team. Competent skills in Microsoft office, POS and reservation programs. To be successful in this role, you will be someone seeking a long-term position (2+ years minimum) leading a team of keen professionals.
