Midway Motel and Roadhouse, Richmond QLD

• Day to day cafe operations including staff management, rostering, ordering and upholding standards.
• Run a clean and safe venue Ensure an upbeat and quality focused environment for our beloved customers to enjoy coffee & food
• Working both weekend days.
• Motivate and lead staff, creating a professional yet fun workplace environment.
• Satisfy wage and COG targets.
• Ability to keep a calm head at all times and manage the cafe, especially during extremely busy periods.
• Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations.
• Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
• Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
• Organize and supervise shifts.
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
• Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
• Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it.
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
• Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expense.

Qualifications required: Any Bachelor’s degree -Preferred Hospitality specialisation

Work experience required, Level of seniority: Minimum 2 years’ experience hotels or restaurants

• Strong understanding of hotel management best practices and data entry software.
• Outstanding interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Exceptional leadership abilities with great attention to detail.
