- Day to day cafe operations including staff management, rostering, ordering and upholding standards.
- Run a clean and safe venue Ensure an upbeat and quality focused environment for our beloved customers to enjoy coffee & food
- Working both weekend days.
- Motivate and lead staff, creating a professional yet fun workplace environment.
- Satisfy wage and COG targets.
- Ability to keep a calm head at all times and manage the cafe, especially during extremely busy periods.
- Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations.
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
- Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
- Organize and supervise shifts.
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
- Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
- Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it.
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expense.
Qualifications required: Any Bachelor’s degree -Preferred Hospitality specialisation
Work experience required, Level of seniority: Minimum 2 years’ experience hotels or restaurants
• Strong understanding of hotel management best practices and data entry software.
• Outstanding interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
