SalaryWe are seeking a dedicated front of house person looking to step up and help lead our team at our premium steakhouse in the Geelong CBD.
At Emerge, we specialise in exceptional steak and modern Australian cuisine. We have dry-ageing facilities on site and an extensive wine list to match. We have been established for 5 years and have built a busy and fun restaurant with a strong following and a small but great team.
You'll be running shifts and leading by example to ensure the highest standards of customer service. A passion for great food and beverage and the ability to connect with our guests is paramount.

Your main key tasks will be:
- Staff training and supervision
- Maintaining menu product knowledge
- Handling reservations (opentable)
- Overseeing staff rostering on Deputy
- Ensuring our daily procedures are adhered to
- Handling cash, cash up, owner reports
You must have:
- At least one to two years of experience in a similar role
- An up-to-date RSA
- Great POS and payment knowledge [ we use Abicus and Tyro ]
- Full availability including weekends
- Proven success in a management role
- Valid visa to work in Australia
Would be an advantage:
- Strong Wine Knowledge
- Bar and cocktail knowledge
- Functions and events experience
