The Venue

Our venue is set to wow and delight Sydneysiders and visitors alike, with multiple spaces for dining and entertaining. Keeping to the Botanic Garden theme of whimsical, natural and airy, we take the indoors to outdoors!
The Role
We are looking for a experienced Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team. This role requires diligence and exceptional customer service to be translated into your daily tasks and interactions with our guests. You are an advocate of this exceptional service and are committed to training a team of the highest calibre. Your ability to engage with other departmental staff and our external service providers is paramount to your success.
Ideally you will have come from a background in a multi-disciplined hospitality business and thrive on getting things done. You excel at dealing with challenges in a tightly resourced environment. The ability to think outside the box to go beyond standard practices and your 'lead by example' leadership style will be highly regarded.
To ensure your success in this role you will have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within a similar role
- A la carte dining Experience and in the delivery of events (Weddings / Corporate Dinners / Cocktail Parties)
- High level of attention to detail
- Exposure to a multi outlet environment - cafe, functions, a la carte
- Enthusiasm about delivering high end events, functions and general service
- Previous staff management skills including direct management of casual labour
- Leading by the way of example, support & management of the business
- A sound knowledge of food, wine & beverage
- Innovative approach to new ideas and operations
- Ability to think outside the box, be creative and innovative
- Current RSA Certificate is a must
