Front Of House Manager / Restaurant Manager
Key Professional Traits:
- Proven experience as a Senior Floor Manager or similar executive role
- 10 years of experience in the retail sector in operations, financial oversight and customer retention.
- A natural Passion for food wine, and cocktails.
- Must have experience leading a team within a busy high volume hospitably environment.
- To have the ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure.
- Adhering to high standards service and customer satisfaction.
- Extensive knowledge of wines and beverages and structuring menu development
- Knowledge of the current market’s conditions in the Sydney restaurant and dining segment
- Experience opening, developing, operating and managing a business
- Financial forecasting and Profit & Loss management, contributing to the bottom line
- Strong analytical ability and decision-making skills
- Brand advocate and strategy
- Creative thinking and development
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Outstanding organizational, time management and leadership skills
- Problem-solving aptitude and problem-solving skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management & Operations of Front of House and Bar
- Identify, set and maximize strategic business goals for growth opportunities and profitability
- Provide management oversight and responsibility across the business to ensure effective operation and efficient functioning of the organization.
- Implementing all approved plans, policies and programmes set and agreed by Alex & Co
- Oversee daily operations of the business unit and organization.
- Ensure the development of tactical programs to pursue targeted goals and objectives.
- Have input and drive key investments in equipment, infrastructure and talent.
- Communicate strategy and results to Alex & Co management team and teams.
- Identifying and managing operational & corporate risks for the organisation and where those risks could have a financial impact on the organisation, formulating strategies for managing and mitigating those risks.
- Developing and recommending business ideas to Alex & Co management and owners
- Ensuring Alex & Co Executive Management is provided with accurate information and reports on a timely basis in regards to, its operations, business & affairs, organisations financial condition, operations and opportunities.
SCHEDULE
- Must be available days and evenings and weekends
- No work Visa or Student Visa accepted.
Staff Management
- Provide a dynamic company culture by building strong collaboration and effective team management across all departments within Alex & Co.
- Ensure the management team and their staff are motivated and work productively and develop professionally
- Responsible for the evaluation and implementation of the leadership framework, which drives talent identification, acquisition and learning and development.
