About Pho Thin
Pho Thin has four branches across Melbourne serving the most authentic Vietnamese foods including the famous Pho and other favourite delicacies. We are looking for a Restaurant Manager who will be crucial to the continued success of our restaurant operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing staff, orders, and transactions while maintaining our high standards for customer service and ensuring food and safety regulations. You will report to the higher management level.
Collaborating with chefs to develop menus.
Organise and oversee daily operations or special functions of FOH and BOH’s work including scheduling and managing staff rosters
Closely monitor staff’s operations, co-ordinate and perform extra support to staff during peak hours or special functions
Train new hires, conduct staff performance review
Ensure consistently exceptional levels of customer service including improving customer satisfaction and handling reviews and complaints
Control costs and produce cash flow reports
Control inventory and stock management including purchasing goods according to budget
Supervise and ensure compliance with food and safety standards
Ensure proper maintenance facilities including overseeing any safety issues or equipment that needs to be repaired.
Manage reservations and bookings by utilising booking platform
Uphold our commitment to customer service excellence and high standard of operation
Requirement
Being fluent in Vietnamese is preferred to ensure smooth communications with most of the staff who have a Vietnamese background
A comprehensive understanding and experience in food and health safety
Strong leadership skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Great sense of responsibility and attention to detail
At least 3+ years of experience in this position or equivalent.
