RESTAURANT MANAGER
SALARY $70,000 - $75,000 plus superannuation
FCD Pty Ltd is looking for a Restaurant Manager for our new restaurant, Sincero Restaurant &Bar in Malvern.
Your role as Restaurant Manager at Sincero Restaurant & Bar is to help support, guide andbuild a strong team.
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for supporting the venue in all
aspects of running the day to day operations successfully and to ensure customers receive the highest level of service possible.
For the position we expect you to have solid experience and knowledge in restaurant
services in order to perform the tasks associated with the position.
Position Description – Restaurant Manager
Managing and coordinating the day-to-day restaurant operations
Collaborating with our head chef to plan seasonal menus and specials
Planning and managing special functions and events
Auditing inventory levels to ensure stock availability
Liaising with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing to maximize profits
Identifying stock shortages and liaising with suppliers, placing goods orders and
reviewing quality of products delivered
Recruiting and training new and current restaurant staff
Managing front of house staff, including rostering and performance reviews
Enforcing adherence to hygiene and occupational health and safety regulations to
maintain a safe working environment
Ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of dining areas
Ensuring the restaurant facilities are maintained in good working order
Maintaining and ensuring high levels of customer service
Communicating with diners to ensure their satisfaction with their dining experience
Handling customer complaints
Managing and recording all financial transactions, generating detailed weekly and
monthly reports on revenue and expenses
Liaising with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations in the restaurant
Taking reservations and orders when needed
Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
The position is full-time.
Must have strong leadership skills, be a team builder, with excellent communication and staff management skills and be prepared to go the extra mile when required.
Knowledge of Italian cuisine and wines will be highly regarded.
Salary $70,000 - $75,000 plus superannuation. Negotiable for the right candidate and level of experience.
