The Bermagui Beach Hotel is a buzzing south coast venue, offering top quality pub food with local produce as our focus. We have 18 beautiful rooms and a bar overlooking mount Gulaga, in a beach front setting. Our hotel is quickly becoming one of the main destinations on the south coast and we are looking for staff that will help us drive that experience further. Further your personal skills by learning how to manage a seasonal venue and have an impact on our offerings. The role comes with a set roster, Wednesday - Sunday
Qualifications & experience
- Previous management experience of at least 2 years, with good references
- A good understanding of food service and the products on offer
- Design experience. - Creating menus - Social media content
Tasks & responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the hotel bistro and bar food service
- Assist in menu design
- Program the POS, online ordering systems and menu boards
- Rostering and Hiring of all bistro/food service staff
- Training of all food service staff and developing procedures for new hires
- Cash reconcilliation
- Provide marketing content, and manage all in house marketing of our restaurant offerings
