About you
We are looking to hire someone who can be trained to become a lead technician. The more experience you have with trades the better, but we are also happy to train someone from the ground up.
Qualifications & experience
- Most important requirement: willing to work hard and learn new processes
- Experience in construction, boiler-making, building, carpentry, landscaping, trade labour, brick-laying, cabinet-making, plastering, remediations, commercial cleaning or other trades strongly desired
- Able to do physical labour, including lifting and operating equipment, bending, cleaning, etc
- Well-presented and well-mannered
- Current Australian Drivers' Licence
- White Card required or ability to get one (company will assist)
- Safety shoes/steel cap boots required (or company will assist)
- Proof of Right to Work in Australia required
- Brisbane residential location strongly preferred
Tasks & responsibilities
- Attend water damage, fire damage, mould, and sewerage ingress jobs
- Show up on time with a neat appearance
- Perform all areas of mitigation and remediation, with on-the-job training from head technicians
- Communicate effectively with head technicians, clients and office staff as required
