Retail Buyer - Hospitality

Culinary Design Concepts Pty Ltd, trading as Stock Market Kitchen, is a company operating in the hospitality and restaurant industry. We specialise in combining the best and freshest ingredients (sourced direct from growers) with generations of culinary skills and secret recipes.
 
Current Opening:
This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week).
As our Retail Buyer, you will be responsible for selecting and buyer goods for resale in our retail establishments.
 
To be successful in this role you will be responsible for:

• Conducting supplier research and finding vendors for a range of products, including food ingredients, drinks, kitchenware, cleaning supplies, and appliances.
• Negotiating with suppliers to obtain advantageous conditions, such as costs and delivery dates.
• Keeping an eye on stock levels and making sure there is a enough supply of necessities while cutting down on waste and extra inventory
• Examining delivered goods to make sure they adhere to quality requirements and standards. resolving any concerns about consistency or quality of the product with suppliers.
• Undertaking supplier cost comparisons and pricing structure analyses.
• Estimating future product demand from past performance, current market trends, and planned events or promotions.
• Making decisions about purchases that are in line with financial aims and objectives while adhering to budgetary restrictions.
• Preserving goodwill with suppliers in order to develop long-term alliances and guarantee dependable and prompt delivery of goods.

Skill Requirement:
The successful candidate would also need to possess at least Certificate III in relevant industry with minimum two years of Full time work experience as a Retail Buyer
 
Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $80,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
