Our products are very popular and loved by huge number of customers. Our office is located in Sydney, and shops in both Sydney and Melbourne. We also have an online store, allowing you easy access to our products. This excellent opportunity will be offered on a Permanent Full-Time basis at 38 hours a week.
The successful candidate must have:
- Certificate IV, Diploma or higher qualifications in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a buying role within a retail environment preferred.
- Exceptional verbal & written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Intermediate to advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently and within deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
- The right to work in Australia
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring sales data and inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Conduct competitor analysis to understand market dynamics and position our product offerings competitively.
- Analyzing trade, manufacturer, and market insights to stay updated on market conditions
- Negotiating purchase, promotion and supply arrangements with suppliers
- Evaluate supplier options according to prices, quality and determine the best choice
- Designing and implementing pricing
- Liaising with management on long-term planning and sales promotions
- Establishing working plans according to seasonal and budgetary requirements
- Working with the new product development team to introduce new products and begin the development process
Attend trade shows and review market research to gather insights that support buying decisions.
