About the Role:
The Sales and Education Coordinator will support the continued growth and development of the Kendo Brands business in ANZ. Through collaborating with our key retailer partner Sephora, they will be responsible for achieving sales and educations goals across all Kendo Brands through implementation of sales initiatives and delivering best-in-class training and education programs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Driving Sales
- Responsible for the development of Kendo Brands in territory, driving growth and working in collaboration with our retail partner Sephora to deliver sales objectives.
- Identify opportunities for Kendo Brands within the market, working with our Sales and Education Manager to develop business plans for stores to increase sales via in-store events, brand activations and other sales initiatives.
- Ensure in-store merchandising and brand presentation is consistent with brand guidelines.
- Maintain strong inventory focus, working with Sephora to manage out of stocks and escalate where necessary.
- Turn around poor performing doors through time and effort spent in store developing teams and ensuring strong partnerships with Store Manager and Retail District Manager.
Education
- Facilitate training and education needs in the market.
- Ensure Cast members are trained across all brands, ensuring confidence in product knowledge, application techniques, selling skills etc. via best-in-class trainings.
- Support Sales and Education Manager with all Special Initiative Trainings.
- Support with all office/admin tasks, including send-outs and strong management of education inventory and general day-to-day operations.
- Manage Journey Planner according to business impact, prioritizing time as needed.
- Act as an ambassador for Kendo Brands, always maintaining a professional appearance and attitude both in person and across social channels.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with all levels of Sephora Field and Store Leadership.
REQUIREMENTS
Work Experience
- Beauty Industry experience required
- 1-2 years Training and Education experience
- Management experience desirable

- Proven leader with flexibility to function in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to work independently and remotely (including WFH capacity)
- Most importantly, a positive “can-do” Kendo attitude.
Skills
- Exceptional interpersonal (relationship-building) and communication skills.
- Must be comfortable presenting in person and across social platforms.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint & Word).
- Ability to travel (driver’s license essential)
- Strong executional skills on a variety of tasks.
Knowledge
Strong Social Media knowledge required (video and static content creation skills strongly favored).
