About the Role:
The Retail Marketing Manager will report to Head of Marketing ANZ and be a key player in enhancing brand development and executing effective brand and product marketing strategies. This role involves collaborating with key retail accounts, working to develop and manage campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement and conversion across ANZ
Operational Tasks:
- Amplify retail promotions and communications to increase Hisense share of voice
- Translate brand communications for retail customers (i.e. curated content for each partner)
- Maximise the ROI for all retail related investments through complete oversight and management of the spend budget
- Display excellence in-store through the management of POS, planograms, display orders and coordination of roll outs (on time and within budget)
- Management of the display budget; design, manufacturing, installation and display maintenance
- Consistent execution of brand message and brand compliance across every retail touch point
- Coordination of local area marketing initiatives working with the state sales team across retail partners
- Work with Retail Marketing teams to develop strategic and longer-term retail activation plans
- Understand, identify and execute relevant retail shows and event opportunities
- Provide monthly ROI reports for co-operative advertising, retail displays and digital activations
- Act as bridge between sales, Retail Marketing, brand marketing, product marketing and digital teams
- Coordinate feedback and insights regarding retail and commercial campaigns and sales related investments
- Stay informed about industry trends, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence to inform Retail Marketing strategies and executions
- Lead internal key account management team on above-the-line (ATL) campaign executions, ensuring collaboration to execute campaigns across TVC, radio, catalogue, retail websites, eDM’s
Internal Collaboration:
- Global Reporting: Provide regular reporting to HQ on strategy and tracking Retail Marketing metrics to ensure targets are achieved and contribute insights for global strategy alignment to garner additional support where possible
- Internal Communications: Manage local internal communications to keep the wider business updated on the latest activations and key results, fostering alignment and engagement across departments
- Work closely with product marketing, brand marketing and the sales team to support and amplify new product launches and drive revenue growth
Competencies & Skills for Position:
- Bachelor Degree in relevant field
- 3-5 years of experience in Retail Marketing covering key responsibilities in the consumer electronics industry is favourable
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful integrated communication campaigns across retail accounts
- Leadership experience is preferred
