Job Description
Successful candidates will be based at our Mirrabooka Square Pop-Up Tax Shop. In this role, you will conduct face-to-face client meetings and handle the preparation of tax returns for individuals, sole traders, and small businesses.
These positions are short-term, typically lasting 2-3 months, with the potential for longer tenures for exceptional candidates. You should have your own transport, be flexible to work various shifts from Monday to Saturday.
Skills and Qualifications
Candidates should have experience in retail Australian tax operations or tax return preparation and be very familiar with the professional XERO TAX module (essential). Ideally, you will have received tax training from a recognised Australian institution, have at least 2 years of relevant experience, and possess a solid understanding of Australian tax laws.
Your ability to communicate effectively, handle clients with warmth and professionalism, and explain tax matters clearly is essential. Attention to detail, a client-centric approach, and the willingness to work swiftly and accurately unsupervised during the busy Tax Season are key.
