The Role
Seeking an experienced and highly professional candidate to provide support to the Director.
The ideal candidate is well presented with a professional phone manner, strong interpersonal skills and client-focused approach. Experience in a professional services environment, specifically accountancy, financial services is required.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Attendance of practice management duties
• General administration duties including ad hoc projects
• Support in client engagement activities including documentation preparation and support for client onboarding
• Diary Management and meeting coordination
• Front of House duties including meeting and greeting clients as needed
• Scheduling and monitoring work loads
• Company secretarial processing for the practice
• Follow up of overdue accounts
• Process Improvements and quality manual updates
• Staff Recruitment and contracts
• Administrative team supervision (4 Admin/Receptionist)
• Some basic in house accounting and financials
• General day to day management of a busy Accounting Practice
• Payroll for clients payruns
• Attending Director meetings
Skills and Experience:
• A high degree of professionalism
• Accounting qualification compulsory
• Experience not mandatory
• Excellent client manner
• Professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite
• Strong IT proficiency, all software used is cloud based
• Willingness to learn, show initiative and be a positive "team player"
• Positive and happy attitude
• Highest standard of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism
• Excellent time management skills with ability to multi task
• Quickly grasps and adapts to using various software applications
• Experience with Xero would be an advantage
• Accounting qualification compulsory
• Experience not mandatory
