About the role
Join our dynamic team as an RTW Coordinator, where you'll take charge of assessing and managing workplace injuries.
You'll drive early intervention, recovery, rehabilitation, and return-to-work goals, all in line with Calvary’s Injury Management policy and regulatory standards. The RTW Coordinator will collaborate with our WHS Team to implement the National Work Health and Safety program, embed safety KPIs, conduct risk assessments and investigations, and train and coach staff across the organization.
Your main duties will include:
- Collaborating with injured employees, their managers, healthcare providers, and stakeholders to ensure effective return-to-work programs, optimizing rehabilitation outcomes, and minimizing insurance costs while promoting a positive safety culture.
- Advising managers on non-work-related medical conditions
- Engaging and training key stakeholders to support early injury intervention, rehabilitation, and return-to-work goals.
- Working with regional leadership to deliver best practices in injury and claims management and acting as the primary contact with Calvary’s insurer for workers’ compensation claims.
About you
- Relevant experience in a RTW or Injury Management role (minimum 4 years)
- Allied health qualifications or relevant experience in a similar role
- Ability to effectively lead the coordination of early intervention strategies, Return to Work and workers compensation claims management processes
- Demonstrated ability to lead, persuade, negotiate, consult with, and provide advice on injury management, rehabilitation and workers compensation claims management
